What is Google Shopping?

Google Shopping is Google’s comparison search engine for products. Google has recently changed its policy to only show paid search results i.e. merchants need to bid to get visibility in the search results.


What are Product Listing Ads?

Product Listing Ads (PLAs) are ads for your products that are displayed at the top of Google search results. These ads contain richer product information like product name, image, price and merchant name.

How does Google Shopping from Commerce Central work?

Step 1

We connect with your Google Merchant Center account. Once you complete the app setup, we will connect directly to your Google Merchant Center account. This allows us to manage your feeds and run your Product Listing Ads (on Google Shopping and This doesn’t interfere with any other AdWords and search marketing-related activity you might be doing on your own.


Step 2

We fetch products from your store and upload them to Google Shopping Every day. After you have given us the permission to manage your Google merchant account, we fetch your products and upload them to Google Shopping. We do this every day so that your ads on Google Shopping are always up-to-date with your new products, pricing, and offers. We also optimize your feed for higher impressions and clicks.


Step 3

We automate and optimize bidding: Once your products have been approved by Google, we start bidding for each of the product categories. Our algorithm based bidding can optimize the campaign as per your needs (for certain categories you may want to bid aggressively or for certain products you may not want to bid at all) and competitive environment to maximize traffic and revenues for your store.


Step 4

We provide reports and insights. While your campaign is running we continually monitor its performance and provide easy-to-understand reporting. We tell you exactly how much revenue is being generated through Google Shopping and provide insights on optimizing your campaign and budget. We also provide an easy to use interface to control your campaign, if you choose to.
